Hi Amanda,
I've had 2 elbow injections in the past .
The injections were not particularly painful, but with both of them the elbow pain increased for about 36 hours and then settled down.

They`re not too bad, Amanda - the anticipation is worse! Got to make sure to rest them : no ironing etc. for at least 24 hours. And how will you manage your wine if it`s your drinking arm?

hi Amanda

elbows need to be done by the rheummy his/her self IMO.

I was VERY anxious last time after a dodgey experience years ago of an inexperienced dr.

this last time it did hurt briefly and then within hours it felt so much happier.

Agree with all of the above. I find injections into little joints hurt more than large ones, strangely. If you are offered it, don't hesitate BUT you must rest the arm afterwards.

Much love

Sorry Amanda but haven't had elbows done so can't help. Glad they are offering you this though - sounds promising looking at your responses. When can you get this done?

Thanks!

Be assured I would never ever allow anyone other than my own rheumy inject a steroid into other parts of my body except my behind! LOL

I also had a very traumatic experinece and that was with a rheumy...say no more!

I don't iron so that's no problem! LOL But wine drinking is a worry...not really, I can always use a drip!

LOLOL

Must get back to the lessons! Going smoothly today which is wonderful! But thank you, I am considering asking for an injection in each elbow as they are irritating me now.......

Love,
Amanda
